Happy St. Patrick's Day! We hope you have all the luck of the Irish today. Here are a few facts about St. Patrick that you may not know: 1. St. Patrick was NOT Irish. 2. He wasn't the first person to bring Christianity to Ireland. 3. The Emerald isle has always been snake-free. He didn't chase them out. 4.Until the 17th Century, blue was the color most associated with St. Patrick, not green. 5.Until the 1700s, the good saint's day was only celebrated in Ireland, where it was a Catholic Feast Day, generally spent in prayer. 6. In Ireland, it's more likely that you will be served pork for your St. Paddy's supper, instead of Corned Beef. Now you know.....so get out there and rock your blue shirt and have some bacon for supper.
