Beginning July 20th, Spencer Public Library will begin admitting patrons, with some restrictions:
- The public must make an appointment to enter. You can call us at 580-7290.
- Only 10 visitors will be allowed in the building at any one time.
- A temperature check and masks (children under two years old are not required to wear masks) are required to enter. Please practice social distancing.
- The library is open only to those 65 and older or with increased susceptibility to serious illness and expecting mothers from 9 am until 10 am each day.
- Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a parent.
- Newspapers, seating areas, meeting rooms, water fountain and rest rooms are unavailable.
- Browsing the materials and shelves, two public use computers, and the microfilm machine will become available at this time.
- We will continue to offer copy, fax, print, reference, and notary services at the front desk by appointment.
- Curbside delivery will continue for those who prefer to use the service.
- Staff will be cleaning chairs, computers, counters, etc. after patron use.
- All items returned need to be cleaned. Your check-in will be delayed.
