Our next selection is Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings’ 1938 novel, The Yearling. This book is a wonderful work of great American literature about a young boy who bonds with a fawn in the harsh Florida back woods.
We will be watching the 1946 film starring Gregory Peck and Jane Wyman in April.
