National Library Week is coming up the third week in April!
This is a time for people in communities across the nation to celebrate their library, whether it’s school, academic, or public.
Spencer Public Library will be celebrating with a variety of activities.
Every afternoon during the week of April 13th through the 19th we will be serving FREE
POPCORN to all of our patrons who visit the library. Check out the display case just
inside the front door for our “Match the librarian to their baby picture” contest or
“Guess how many book-worms the librarian ate” at the front desk. Sarah Beth is also offering a coloring contest to children in preschool and grade school.

To top it all off, we will be hosting a NLW Library Ninja Party on Thursday, April 17th at 6:30 in the evening! Young ninja warriors are invited to test their skills on a ninja obstacle course, decorate ninja-bread men, and create a scroll or headband with their ninja name on it. Registration is required, so we know how many ninjas to plan for.
